Macintosh control over the Sony line of 5, 50, 100, 200, 300 and 400 disc capacity CD Changers.

Control up to twelve (12) Sony CD Changers at one time, for instant access to up to 4,800 music CDs.

Any combination of compatible changers may be controlled.

Automatic CD Recognition
Inventory of the CDs in your Sony CD Changers through the Gracenote/CDDB® online database.
The CDDB database includes info on hundreds of thousands of CD titles, across all musical genres.
CDDB is the largest music database available, insuring recognition of most, if not all of your CDs.
The CDDB includes title, artist, songlist and category, and often disc and track notes, for each CD.
CDDB disc recognition is based on track times, so you don't need to enter or type any information.

Upload to Changer Display
Upload disc information to the Changer's Display for models that support this feature.
Set preferences to automatically update Changer's Display whenever a CD is inventoried or edited.
Options to automatically upload CD title, artist or both, whenever a CD is inventoried or edited.
Automatic formatting options, including all caps, delete spaces, and remove articles.
Upload your own custom memo for any CD at any time.
Upload up to 13 characters. Sorry, track and artist memos not supported.

Easily Create Playlists
Drag and drop, or double-click on individual songs or entire CDs to add them to a playlist.
An unlimited number of songs or CDs can be added to a playlist, in an order you want.
Create hours, days or even weeks of continuous music.
Save a virtually unlimited number of playlists to fit any mood or occasion.
Name your playlists anything you wish (e.g. "Bob's After Dinner Music") .
Automatically create playlists based on category, rating, last played, frequency of play, and/or length.
MP3 Support
Variety of sound file formats supported, including MP3, WAV, AIFF and SD2.
Easily add MP3 & other sound files to a playlist by simple drag and drop from the desktop.
Drag and drop songs directly from iTunes into a playlist.
Alternatively, add MP3 or other sounds files to a playlist through simple menu commands.
Seamlessly and easily play MP3 and other sound files right along with music from your CD collection.
Powerful Playlist Controls
Full CD/Play Controls: Play, Pause, Stop, Start of Track, Fast Forward, Fast Rewind, and Next Track.
Automatically cues the right CD and song, or MP3 or other sound file when needed.
Pre-cues the next needed song if it is from a different changer or while an MP3 file is playing.
Automatically stagger songs between different changers or MP3 files for zero wait time between songs.
Randomly shuffle the songs within a playlist.
Set playlists to "Loop" for continuous, endless music, or to play straight through to the end.
Displays currently playing song, artist, CD title, track time, and elapsed time in player marquee.
Displays total time and number of tracks for the current playlist.
Option to automatically start playlist on start-up, or when a playlist file is double-clicked.
Control Your Stereo Receiver (Available only with Slink-e Hardware)
Stick-on infrared (IR) emitter for controlling any brand of stereo receiver that includes a remote control.
Extensive library of IR device files for controlling many popular brands and models.
"Learn Remote" feature if a device file does not already exist for your brand and model receiver.
Create an onscreen "virtual remote control" to issue IR commands (power, volume, etc) as you want.
Map IR commands to events in the program (e.g. on start-up, turn on stereo and switch to CD input).
Keyboard shortcuts for controlling volume (increase, decrease, and mute) on your receiver.
"Now Playing" Screen
"Now Playing" window for viewing info about the current song and playlist.
Full screen window, perfect for viewing from across a room or on a TV monitor.
"Now Playing" screen displays song title, artist, CD title and album cover of the currently playing song.
Can set the "Now Playing" screen to appear automatically after a user selected "idle" time.
Edit CD Information
Enter your own custom info for each CD, or fill in missing information if CD not found in the CDDB.
Enter notes, rating, artists, producer, engineer, label, catalog #, release date, live/studio, and more.
For each track on every CD, enter notes, rating, songwriter and artists.
Drag and drop pictures from files or other applications to display CD cover or other art for each CD.
Organize & Catalog Your CD Collection
Display a list of CDs in your Sony Changers, organized by artist, title, category, or location.
Expand or collapse any line in the Changer List to view or hide the songlist for each CD.
Click on a CD or song in the Changer List or Playlist to view detailed info in the "Catalog" Window.

Create text file reports of the CDs in your Changer List (organized by artist, title, category or location).
Create tab or other delimited exports of all or any portion of the information in your CD database.

Reports can be printed, or imported into other programs.

"Find" feature to quickly locate a particular CD, artist or song.

Advanced Features (Available only with Mac OSX version)

Fully scriptable to allow users to create their own custom, front-end applications using AppleScript.
Use AppleScript to integrate into other home automation systems.

Map IR commands, AppleScripts, and/or insert delays to particular events within the program.

Automatically power on Changers on start-up; option to power off Changers at shutdown.
